At our site in Ann Arbor, we are currently looking for a Strategic Procurement Manager - Logistics to be a part of our growing team.

Responsibilities:

The Strategic Procurement Manager for Logistic will lead and facilitate the coordination of key materials and delivery services with other WCC departments. Lead timely preparation for Procurement Monthly Reports, KPI's, forecasts, audits, supplier complaints/claims/evaluations and other reporting as necessary. Manage 3PL relationship with an emphasis on achieving monthly cost savings targets. Own relationship with warehouse providers, including contract negotiations, new product setup and approval for storage. Participate in capacity planning with logistics engineering. Conduct on-site reviews of supplier facilities and products/process capabilities to assess current and potential supplier qualifications.

• Conducts business tenders
• Collaborates with 3PL for domestic transportation bids
• Manages commercial relationship with all warehousing partners
• Negotiates and drafts contracts and contract amendments
• Maintains and updates departmental procedures and contracts
• Serves as commercial point of escalation for all logistics providers
• Prepares strategy, and cost reduction initiatives and presents them to stakeholders
• Schedules periodic reviews, supplier visits, attends industry specific events

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree required; Master's preferred
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• 10-20% Travel
