PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support for purchasing activities such as reviewing parts estimates and sourcing parts for production
• Determine the best partner by comparing competitiveness such as price and quality.
• Provide knowledge and information about government rules affecting purchases to organizational staff and suppliers
• Contact the supplier to reschedule or expedite delivery and resolve quality issues
• Test requested for part approval
• Negotiate contracts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above
• Occasional international travel required
• Experience in procurement preferred
• Solid understanding of supply chain mechanics and forecasting
• Good understanding of cost modeling
• Negotiating skills
• Excellent MS Office skills
