Requirements

  • As a Process Engineer Associate, you will participate in the Engineer in Training (EIT) program (approximate duration of 104 weeks).
  • Upon completion of the EIT program, employee must be capable of performing the duties and responsibilities of the Process Engineer I.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Knowledge of database, design, internet and manufacturing software.
  • Proficient in the use of spreadsheet and word processing software.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, materials).
  • No experience required for Process Engineer Associate.

  • Climb up to 60 feet above ground on ladders and catwalks
  • Walk/stand on uneven ground, walkways and catwalks throughout the work day
  • Must be available to walk, crawl, kneel and climb ladders/stairs to inspect facilities and to observe work activities.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Capability of working for long periods of time in extreme heat and in dusty areas, confined spaces and heights.
  • Ability to climb stairs and work at heights (up to 350’).
