Private Practice Therapist, LP, LCSW, LPC, LLP, LMSW Job at Galvin Growth Group
We are seeking Psychologists to join our growing practice. Our practice provides a variety of services including therapy to individuals, couples, and families, as well as psychological evaluations, consultations to schools, parent training, group therapy/workshops. Our clientele includes both children and adults. We provide evidenced-based interventions and have a certified therapy dog who can provide Animal Assisted Therapy. Training in AAT is provided to therapists who wish to work with the therapy dog.
A background in School Psychology or Neuropsychology is ideal. The preferred candidate is a psychologist with a Limited or Full License. A degree in Counseling or Social Work may also be considered, depending on licensure. Expertise in psychoeducational or neuropsychological testing is preferred. We are looking for motivated professionals that possess excellent organizational skills, strong clinical skills, and the willingness to be a collaborative team member. Psychologists who are comfortable working with children ages 6-18 are ideal and a clientele ranging from ages 6-65 years is available.

Requirements:
- Master's Degree, Specialist, or Doctorate Degree in Psychology or a recognized related field from an accredited college/university
- LP, LCSW, LMSW, or LLP
- Experience in therapy, assessment, and consultation
- Knowledge of and experience with evidence-based interventions and best practices
- Credentialing with 1 insurance company may be required & referral to credentialing specialist for this process is provided
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical and consultation services in accordance with the policies and procedures of the American Psychological Association (APA)
- Provide clinical services such as the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness, psychological testing/assessment, report writing, treatment planning, individual and group counseling, crisis management services, and other clinical services typically considered within the scope of a psychologist’s practice while under the supervision of a Licensed Psychologist.
- Complete 25+ billable hours per week
- Available 3 prime time shifts per week (i.e. weekdays after 3pm or weekend days)
- Ensure that services provided are in accordance with relevant ethical and professional standards of care
- Participate in team meetings & clinical supervision
- Complete and maintain electronic paperwork such as progress notes, client files, billing/insurance documentation, psychological evaluation reports, and intervention plans
- Maintain an electronic calendar of schedules and appointments
- Networking & marketing within the community
- Communicate and meet with the Clinical Director for supervision/oversight and case consultation
- Other tasks and responsibilities that may be assigned as necessary
- Telemedicine is available through the EHR system. Please note that this position is primarily for in-person services as that is the need for the majority of the clientele.

Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate for billable services plus a diverse and generous benefits package.
