Movement gyms feature bouldering, top-roping and lead climbing, as well as amenities like yoga studios, functional fitness and cardio zones, childcare, and retail pro shops. POSITION OVERVIEW

Private Coaches are expected to listen and understand what their client are seeking during a private lesson or over a series of sessions. We are actively looking for a top tier coach who can consistently deliver a transformative experience to their clients.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Respond to inquires and schedule sessions independently that meet the clients criteria by email, phone or in person.
• Monitor clients energy levels and support the athlete while promoting our core values.
• Be curious and question to further your understand of what the client is hoping to gain.
• Ability to develop coaching plans for a broad range of clients.
• Present a plan for how that session or a series of session could progress over time.
• Provide a transformative experience for the client.
• Document private session thoroughly & consistently to support the program department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Embody Movement Core Values and the foster a positive culture in our community
• Passion for working with athletes of all levels & ages to help further develop their unique needs.
• Have the knowledge and skill set to support an advanced client base of youth & adult climbers.
• Knowledge and experience in climbing instruction commensurate with the clients level
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with athletes, coaches, parents, and gym leadership.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This is a part-time hourly position with a pay range for this position begins at $16.00 and can vary depending on the evaluation of your private coaching skill set. Full-time employment is possible if combined with another role or this role could grow clientele to hit the metrics where it becomes a full-time position.
