Prevention Specialist Job at New Horizons Behavioral Health
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: Negotiable- based on education & experience.
Program: Nexus
Hours: Mostly 8am to 5pm. Programs that work with the youth work 11am to 7pm when they are out of school.

Job Description: The candidate’s duties include: Providing BOTVIN Life Skills Training in the community to Adults and Youth; Maintaining data and monthly reporting information; Serving as a point of contact and liaison for the Nexus Program. Intakes and assessments may be required, along with some marketing and promotion of the program. Other duties may be assigned. Days are Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm. Some Saturdays may be required for community events. Candidate will service the community, schools, colleges, and community-based programs.
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in the Human Services field. At least two (2) years of experience working in the field providing services to the Mental Health and/or Substance Abuse population conducting groups, presentations, prevention life skills education. Must have excellent communication and written skills.
Preferred Qualifications: A Master’s degree in the Human Services field.
