We are seeking Press Operators for 2nd shift.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM.
Pay: Up to $18/hour
Overview: Operate injection molding machine to produce plastic products
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Able to operate hand-held tools, including trimming knife, de-burring tool, jigs and fixtures
- Good teamwork skills
- Prefer prior plastic injection molding or manufacturing experience
Responsibilities:
- Operate assigned plastic injection molding machines.
- Read, understand, and perform the processes stated in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Review press samples to understand and be able to identify conforming or non-conforming product.
- Complete the initial Quality inspection of the product being produced and determine if it is conforming or non-conforming product.
- Communicate immediately with supervisor and/or quality control when non-conforming product is identified.
- Inspect, trim, clean, and package products to customers' specifications.
- Accurately record scrap and rejects on production data entry sheet.
- Prepare and tape boxes.
- Ensure workstation is clean and orderly.
