We are currently looking for a weekend Shift Press Brake Operators.

SUMMARY

Setup and operate a minimum of one of the following: CNC Plasma/Punch Equipment, HAAS and Brake Presses, to cut, shape, or form metal work pieces.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review setup sheet and specifications to determine setup procedure, machining sequence, and dimensions of finished work piece.
• Ability to retrieve pre-programmed machine instructions from database, using machine control console.
• Observe machine operation to detect malfunctions, change tooling when worn, damaged or specified in setup instructions.
• Measure work piece for conformance to specifications.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED
• Six months or more related experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to read blueprints
• Demonstrated experience using various measuring devises, including but not limited to tape measures, height gauges, and calipers
• Ability to set up and operate two or more machines in the fabrication area
• Bend and lift, loading and unloading work pieces on to pallets, and move from one workstation to another, alternately sitting and standing
• Lift objects up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
• Perform repetitive work more than 10 hours per day
