Oversee a classroom of 10 - 15 preschool-age students. Complete developmentally-appropriate lesson plans using PA Keys Early Learning Standards. Maintain student files and monitor student progress using various observations and assessment tools. Communicate with parents and hold parent/teacher conferences twice yearly. Help students prepare for PreK and Kindergarten, assist with potty training, teach self-help and academic skills appropriate for three-year-olds. CDA/Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required. Experience teaching or working in childcare a plus. Wage is dependent on education and experience. $10.50 - $13.50/hr. This is a fulltime, 40 hour/week position. Flexible schedules available. Lock Haven YMCA Childcare is a DHS-licensed, STAR 2 facility that serves nearly 100 families in Clinton County.'
