Spur, a digital staffing agency, is looking for hard-working and punctual Pre-K OSR Aides to work in Huntsville City Schools. The Pre-K OSR Aide Position will work alongside the Certified Teacher and assist in learning activities as well as classroom management. An associates degree or higher is required along with 9 credit hours in either early childhood or child development courses. These positions will work Monday - Friday when school is in session and will require additional paid trainings. Pay rate: $15.60/hour

The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, adhering to the rules and guidelines set by the school and Spur. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and approachable attitude, understanding the importance of supporting teachers and/or school staff in enhancing the learning environment for students. The primary duty of this position will be working alongside teachers and staff in their day-to-day activities. Candidates are expected to always represent the school and program in a positive and professional manner. Duties expected of this position are:

• Assisting in preparation of instructional materials and physical environment
• Assisting in planning and preparation for group and individual activities
• Supervising students as assigned, during instructional and non-instructional activities
• Providing individual and group instructional support to reinforce skills
• Providing enrichment and remedial assistance as required
• Assisting with testing and evaluation to determine student progress
• Participating in activities that will develop positive interaction in the instructional process
• Performing other related tasks as assigned
  
• Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for an extended period of time.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain a clear State of Alabama Background check
• Associates Degree or higher with 9 credit hours being in early childhood or child development.
• Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs.

Compensation

• This position pays $15.60/hour
• Job Hours: 7:30 - 2:45 or 3:00
