Political Canvassers - Sunland/Tujunga Job at David Morgan And Associates
Responsibilities:
- Voter contact, both canvassing and phone banking, using specific language and messaging designed by the campaign to improve turnout
- Data entry while canvassing
- Meeting daily canvassing goals.
- Canvassing during afternoon and evening hours, along with weekends – up to total of 30 hours a week
Qualifications:
- Self-starting and energetic personality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in politics and increasing voter participation
- Ability to commit up to 30 hours a week, primarily during afternoon and evening hours, for canvassing and phone banking
- Ability to quickly learn campaign technology
- Canvassing and phone banking experience preferred, but not required
- Bi-lingual a plus
- Reliable transportation a must
Training: Canvassers will receive in-depth training from some of the top political and organizing leaders in California.
