About this position...

The Plumbing Laborer will be responsible for a variety of tasks within the organization as it relates to drain and pressurized systems. Personnel in this position report to the Plumbing Foreman and will be supporting both the Construction and Property Management divisions to ensure new-builds, trouble shooting, and installations are done efficiently.

• Install new sanitary sewer, domestic water, and natural gas piping and systems in accordance with current codes, plans, and specifications.
• Repair and maintain existing sanitary, domestic, and gas systems in both residential and light commercial settings.
• Support Triple Crown’s equipment division in lateral tie ins, testing, and inspections.
• Work well in a team or solo setting.
• Assist in installing pipes, valves, fittings, fixtures, and equipment.
• Measure, cut and thread pipe as needed.
• Identify issues with drains or sewers and perform cleaning and unclogging services.
• Install and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, hot water tanks, well pump systems, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, and water softeners.
• Conduct proper testing of various systems.

What we are looking for from you...

• HS Diploma or GED
• 2-5 years experience in plumbing construction work
• Ability to work alone and as a team
• Good problem solving and mathematics skills
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Knowledge of local plumbing codes and safety regulations
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade
• Frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds continually and occasionally lift or move up to 95 pounds
