Pipefitter Job at Superior Skilled Trades
Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Journeyman Pipefitters in Big Sky, Montana.
PER DIEM!! 40 HOURS A WEEK!! LONG-TERM POSITION!!
- PAY: $28-$32
- HOURS: 40 hours
- SCHEDULE: 7 am- 3:30 pm, Monday- Friday
- PER DIEM: $120 a day for days worked
- DURATION: 1 year
- START DATE: ASAP
JOB DESCRIPTION FOR JOURNEYMAN PIPEFITTERS:
Bends pipe by hand or with pipe-bending tools and machines. Mounts pipe hangers and brackets on walls and ceiling to hold the pipe. Assembles and installs a variety of metal or nonmetal pipes and pipe fittings, using threaded caulked, soldering, brazen, fused, or cemented joints, and hand tools.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR JOURNEYMAN PIPEFITTERS :
- 5 years of commercial experience
- Must have hand tools associated with HVAC pipe fitting
- Must have a pipe fitters handbook
- Must read Architectural drawings and detailed shop drawings
- Experienced with HVAC equipment and installation including boilers, chillers, pumps, heat exchangers, and their accessories
- Experienced in fitment for carbon steel weld pipe, threaded pipe systems, grooved pipe systems, and copper pipe soldering and brazing.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR JOURNEYMAN PIPEFITTERS :
- Pre-employment drug screen is required
