Physician Recruiter Job at Swope Heath
As a Physician Recruiter for Swope Health, you will be a part of team of dedicated employees who support the organization in reaching goal of providing quality healthcare to those who need it the most. The Physician Recruiter is responsible for managing all aspects of physician & provider recruitment for Swope Health Services. The Physician Recruiter will develop strategic yearly staffing plans and be instrumental in defining and executing strategies designed to identify qualified candidates & foster relationships. The Physician Recruiter will play a critical role in guiding candidates through the recruitment process.
Primary Functions:
- Responsible for candidate sourcing, pre-screening, and appropriate follow-up for designated specialties.
- Develops effective sourcing strategies for lead generation in designated specialties including but not limited to direct mail, advertising, medical organizations, specialty meetings, email campaigns, social media campaigns, phone calls, creative sourcing, research, etc.
- Develops and maintains contacts with training programs, current medical staff, current medical groups, hospital and practice administrators, vendors and other sources of applicants.
- Identify and screen high caliber candidates that match our job qualifications and experience requirements.
- Provide recruitment consulting and guidance to hiring managers to support our full cycle recruitment including Determine selection criteria
- Researching and participating in conferences, job fairs, and Physician Recruitment opportunity events.
- Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks).
- Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position
- Compile lists of most-suitable candidates by assessing their CVs, portfolios, and references
- Maintain records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders
- Creates and maintains recruitment reports to share with key stakeholders
Successful Candidates Will Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or related required
- Minimum of 2+ years relevant interviewing skills experience
- Knowledge and past use of a server-based applicant tracking system preferred
- Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong initiative and solid judgment.
- Strong interpersonal skills: ability to build relationships both within and outside the organization.
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Must possess a high level of professionalism and discretion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment
