We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual that is a Registered Pharmacy Technician for our pharmacy in Oviedo, FL. Must be available to work Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Responsible for handling calls and correspondence regarding pharmacy issues from providers/physicians and patients
• Responsible for accurate data entry
• Responsible for performing initial research of pharmacy issues
• Responsible for assisting with entering prior authorizations when required
• Responsible for following up with requests from physicians for denial letters

Requirements :

• Accurate data entry information
• Strong computer skills are a must
• Experience verifying pharmaceutical insurance
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• State certification as a Pharmacy Technician
• At least 2 years of experience
• Bilingual Required (English and Spanish)
