Hennessey Performance Engineering seeks a full-time high performance Automotive Calibrator with professional experience in the automotive industry, preferably in high-end or aftermarket automobiles.

In this position, you will calibrate and tune high performance vehicles by using dynamometers and software to calibrate high performance automobiles to make more horsepower and ensure reliability. Some examples may include using HP tuners to calibrate a modified Hellcat equipped TRX truck. Along the way, your stellar attitude, attention to detail, and focus on quality, will help ensure the best possible products delivered to our customers.

Applicants should have experience in automotive calibrations, HP Tuners, Handheld tuning devices, dyno operation, and performance parts.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Automotive tuning and calibration

· Running vehicles on dyno

· Safety adherence

· ‪Maintaining efficiency and adhering to production schedule

· Follow procedure and be open to doing things the way that you are taught

· Be coach-able

Skills/Qualifications:

· 3+ years of experience as Automotive Calibrator

· Knowledge of automobiles in all areas

· Knowledge on power adders

· Ability to solve problems and navigate solutions

Ability to do repetitive tunes and increase speed and quality

· Local and able to drive to our office in Sealy Tx Monday through Friday

Required Education:

• ·High school degree or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree preferred

John Hennessey and the Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) team have been making fast cars go faster since 1991. Over the last 30 years, John and his team have built more than 10,000 vehicles with more than 400 of those in 2019 alone. HPE operates in a soon to be 51,000-square foot workshop and showroom facility situated on 143 acres near Sealy, Texas (about 45 minutes west of Houston). HPE offers a wide variety of dyno-proven, track tested high-performance engine upgrade packages & parts for a variety of modern performance vehicles. Hennessey Performance is also the only tuner in North America that operates its own test track—the Lonestar Motorsports park 1/4-mile dragstrip facility which is adjacent to the HPE workshop & showroom.
