San Francisco AIDS Foundation (SFAF) envisions a future where health justice is achieved for all people living with or at risk for HIV. POSITION OVERVIEW : : :

We are searching for a Recruiting Specialist to join our People & Culture Team. The Recruiting Specialist will partner with stakeholders in our People Operations teams and hiring managers from all other divisions at San Francisco AIDS Foundation to create and implement recruiting activities and contribute to the design of a Talent Acquisition Pipeline.

COMPENSATION::
$32.00 per hour, maximum of 20 hours semi-weekly

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ::
    • Create and implement recruiting plans with Hiring Managers and other relevant stakeholders
    • Write job descriptions and post them online
    • Assess incoming resumes
    • Screen potential candidates
    • Conduct interviews by phone or in person
    • Help the hiring managers with recruiting methods and interview questions
    • Maintain interview and hiring records
    • Facilitate logistics and collect documentation of all interviews
    • Prepare hiring paperwork and information packets



ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS : : :
    • Experience with calendar scheduling in Outlook
    • Ability to conduct various types of interviews (in person, online, phone)
    • Knowledge of candidate management systems
    • Experience using Google Suite products, and project management platforms like Asana.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and with a team
    • Strong leadership skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTS : : :

Skill in operating equipment such as a personal computer, copy machine and telephone system. Ability to perform routine bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : : :
    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Minimum of :1: years of work in Recruiting or Sales: required.
    • Experience with LGBTQ communities, people who use drugs, BIPOC communities :highly regarded.
    • Experience working with non-profit organizations, and community health services organizations.:

This position will have access to protected health information (PHI) and may only access, use or disclose the minimum information necessary to perform their designated role on behalf of San Francisco AIDS Foundation, regardless of the extent of access provided.

WORK ENVIRONMENT : : :

This position is primarily located at 1035 Market Street and : will require work on-site at least 3 times per week. : To support recruiting activities, the position will occasionally require traveling to other office locations or off-site meetings as required by the job.
