Pawn Shop Manager-Ft. Lauderdale

Salary $45k-$67.5k + potential for various performance and annual bonuses, generous health plan, and paid vacation programs Per Year

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Seeking Store Management with experience in pawn shops, financial services
• Bilingual applicants needed,
• Able to be trained to manage all facets of a high-volume pawn shop location.
• Work with Ownership to coordinate activities providing development, guidance, and recommendations regarding store staff (hiring/ promotions/ demotions/ terminations).
• Assist in implementing store objectives regarding associates’ sales and lending activities.
• Approve/oversee-process every loan (through direction of owner/manager), discount, and sale.
• Work closely with store team to control damage and prevents losses to company and customer assets.
• Maintains exceptional customer service through 100% application of Company Standards
• Work with Ownership regarding P&L responsibilities.
• Implements and supports daily/weekly/monthly store performance goals set for the store.
• Achieve daily/weekly/monthly performance goals as it relates to retail sales, layaway programs, and loan growth as well as company audits regarding shrinkage and corporate Store Standards.
• Coordinate staff coverage for the store through scheduling of management and SLA’s.
• Seeking Experienced individuals with high end jewelry and watch expertise primarily
• Additional responsibilities as requested or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• GIA or GG Certification is highly sought
• 3+ years Pawn Shop Management or high-end jewelry retail with diamond, jewelry, estate goods, and or high-end watch experience and or firearms is ideal for this position. Pawn Shop specific work experience IS preferred.
• Qualified candidates may be eligible for paid relocation expenses.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and responsibility for financial services, to include the ability to read and understand P& L statements.
• Experience in revenue-generating capability in Pawn Shops ideally.
• Demonstrated supervisory proficiency in hiring, counseling, and coaching to include conducting performance management sessions.
• Ability to meet corporate driving expectations, proof of valid driver's license and liability insurance.
• Must be able to provide Job and Personal References for verification.
• Stable Work History
• Able to Work a Flexible Schedule, including Weekends.
• Hispanic Bilingual all a Plus.
• Able to work in a fun, fast paced environment.
• Must have a passion for customer service.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Drug Test screening.
• Must be able to bend, stoop and lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
