Description
Responsible for patientregistration, verification of insurance, collection of co-pays/deductibles, pre-certification or authorization of accounts, referrals to Financial Counseling for assistance in payment options. Tracks patient bed availability based on census and discharges. Flexible days/hours based on business needs. Updates patient demographic information in EMR system (EPIC)
Qualifications
High School diploma required. Associates degree preferred. 2. Experience: Related Patient Access experience preferred. Strong customer service experience required. Clerical/Billing experience preferred. PC experience required (Word/Excel.) 3. Training/Certification: EPIC training available 4. Licensure: N/A 5. Other: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
