Parts Advisor Job at Peak Industrial
Peak Industrial is looking for a Parts Advisor to join our team!
The ideal candidate will have experience in running a parts department, assessing and identifying parts options and information, and helping to grow our business footprint. The candidate should be a team-player, willing to learn and committed to quality work.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain established effective parts department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Use proprietary software to lookup, manage and sell our construction equipment inventory.
- Customer interaction, answering phones, answering questions, finalizing sale.
- Fulfill all phone, walk-in and online customer requests for parts.
- Ensure that all branch transfers are processed correctly. This includes parts shipped from other locations.
- Interaction with shop technicians providing parts for repairs.
- Invoicing and payment processing.
- Placing orders with suppliers
- Freight expense control
- Maintain shipping and receiving, daily.
Qualifications:
- Experience in parts or services industries
- Minimum of 2 years of parts experience in the Heavy Equipment and Construction
- Strong computer skills preferred
- Strongly organized and excellent communication will be vital to the success of this role
