Part-time Medical Receptionist Job at Pediatrics West
Pediatrics West is an independently owned practice that provides personalized healthcare to children and their families. The clinic provides a high level of continuity by understanding an individual’s needs to help them stay healthy and happy.
Our office is seeking an upbeat and genuine individual to work as a Medical Receptionist, 18-24 hours per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. This role must work collaboratively with all clinic staff in support of direct patient services, exhibiting flexibility and displaying a positive demeanor. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for good work/life balance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Pleasantly greet patients and determine purpose of visit
- Collect patient forms, verify insurance information and update any new information
- Schedule patients based on predetermined appointment arrangements
- Pull and prepare patient charts prior to appointment
- Answer incoming calls on multi-line phone system, respond to inquiries, and relay messages to appropriate party
- Make reminder calls to patients in regards to future appointments
- Assist RN’s and Physicians with faxing, copying, calling in orders, and other jobs duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of reception experience; healthcare setting preferred
- Excellent skills in verbal and written communication
- Ability to perform detailed work in a fast-paced environment
- COVID-19 vaccine required
