Must hold a license as an LMSW, PLPC, CSW in Hammond, Denham Springs, Baton Rouge Louisiana area to provide counseling and community support to patients in Hammond, Denham Springs, Baton Rouge Louisiana and the surrounding areas. The Mental Health Counselor works with children starting at age 5 and adults. Masters Level Clinicians utilize evidenced based treatment modalities and interventions to treat various DSM-V diagnoses most frequently, children and adults with ADHD, ODD, and other behavior disorders as well as Bipolar, Depression and Anxiety. NIALife Center for Counseling utilizes the family systems model to treat patient symptoms. Employment at NIALife Center for Counseling provides a dynamic working environment where clinicians have the opportunity to work with a multi-discplinary team of counselors, social workers, caseworkers, psychiatrist and psychiatric nurse practitioners. Clinicians also get the opportunity to work in a community setting collaborating with educators, members of the justice department, hospitals and various social service agencies. The counselor will provide services in the NIALife office, schools, community and home.

Masters Level Clinicians receive competitive salaries which are negotiable and commensurate with education and experience, as well as monthly stipends towards licensure supervision, trainings and continuing education. Full time permanent employees receive annual paid holidays and leave.
