Outside Sales Representative Job at Zelle HR Solutions
Position Summary: The Outside Sales Representative plays an important role as they are tasked with generating new sales leads outside of the office, following up on those leads, and driving sales. They will travel to customers to obtain business and meet with potential customers as well as maintain strong relationships with existing ones while ensuring that customer satisfaction is the top priority. They must also submit regular reports about sales activities and metrics and generate leads and sales to meet and exceed sales expectations.
Essential Job Functions:
- Build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
- Travel within an assigned sales territory to conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers.
- Communicate with customers and leads to identify and understand their products or service needs; identify and suggest products and services to meet those needs.
- Demonstrate the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolve any issues that may arise post-sale.
- Maintain detailed reports of sales activities, including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
- Strive to continually meet or exceed sales targets set by the company.
- All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a sales representative in an affiliated field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work individually with little to no supervision.
- Familiarity with different sales techniques and an understanding of the selling process.
Working Environment:
- Must be able to travel and operate a vehicle to attend sales meetings.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or sitting in a vehicle.
