Precision Tools Service, Inc. has an immediate opening for an outside industrial sales professional in our Richmond, Kentucky office. Our primary focus is the Tier 1 & 2 Japanese Automotive suppliers. The Account Representative will visit on a regular basis key customers and develop an action plan to grow and maintain accounts while identifying the customer’s needs and market opportunities.
- Develops multiple relationships within the customer’s organization including purchasing, engineering, facility managers, project managers, maintenance, quality control and corporate level management
- Develop product knowledge while using the hands-on approach and personal initiative
- Develop relationships with vendors to gain product knowledge and technical support
- Customer service support and team commitment
- Produce and track sales, orders and inventory reports
- Quoting
- Data entry
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements, Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor's OR 2+ years of Industrial Sales experience
- Knowledge of cutting tools, abrasives, pneumatics, maintenance, repair, and operating products is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including High Skill in Excel with aptitude to learn new computer applications
- Excellent math, verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Good follow up skills and persistence
- Self-motivated and results oriented
- Excellent phone presence
- Willing and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize work appropriately
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and decisiveness
- Ability to react well under the pressure of a fast-paced environment and follow through on commitments
- Accurate data entry skills
