OTR DRIVER Job at Mahaska Bottling Co.
Deliver freight to our existing warehouses and customers.
Essential Job Functions
- Safely operate tractor-trailer combination.
- Perform vehicle inspections required under sections 396.13 of the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Regulations.
- Maintain a current Class A CDL.
- Operate and maintain records in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR), Department of Transportation (DOT) and company policies as required.
- Provide excellent service to customers.
- Able to work a flexible schedule that may require 6 days a week, and as many as 12-14 hours in a day.
- Able to make runs that require overnight stays.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience
- Possess and maintain a valid Class A Commercial driver’s license.
- Minimum of 3 years over the road driving experience.
- Must have excellent time management skills
- Excellent organizations skills. Keeping track of paperwork accurately. (E-log, and paper log knowledge, Bill of Ladings, Fuel reporting, etc.)
- Must have the ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Safe driving record and history.
- Pass DOT drug test and have no prior positive tests or refusals.
- Pass DOT physical.
