Operator - Transloading Job at Houff Corporation
Houff Corporation is an agricultural and industrial services company specializing in rail-to-truck transloading. We are currently seeking a qualified Transloading Operator for our facility in Doswell, VA. The position will oversee the transloading of material from railcar to truck and trailers. Operators are accountable to ensure the safe and productive operation of the facility and be proficient in the operation of equipment associated with all functional areas. The Operators load trucks with product using facility equipment including both stationary and mobile conveyors and other loading equipment.
Pay Range:
$21 - $23 /Hour

Requirements of a successful Transload Operator:
Must have team player attitude with high-level of self-motivation requiring minimal supervision
Willingness to work any shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays as schedule may fluctuate
Ability and willingness to wear personal protective equipment
Ability to work outdoors and be exposed to varying weather conditions (i.e.: heat, wet, cold, etc.)
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Must be physically able to do the following: stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time; grip, climb, reach, shovel, squat, crawl, pull and push
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
