We are looking for a talented Operations Specialist to join our Team!

How you will help us on our mission and inspire others:

  • Act as interim Executive Director for vacancies assigned by supervisor
  • Evaluate and advise communities on short and long-term planning, budgets and asset management in alignment with the Company’s goals and growth objectives
  • Develop and review monthly/quarterly plans for the community to ensure alignment with goals and strategic objectives
  • Direct the overall operations of the assigned community while meeting, or exceeding, the company’s customer experience standards, and within the spirit of the company’s core values.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local and company regulations and policies. Maintaining knowledge of state regulation impacting our communities
  • Rigorously manages the collection process for timely receipt. Following the Pathway policy and procedure to avoid any balances aging beyond the 30, 60 and 90 day thresholds
  • If applicable, daily support and management of the Medicaid/Supportive Living revenue and census process.
  • Manages labor to benchmarks adjusting timely to occupancy and service level changes.
  • Holds Sales Team Members accountable for success factors including a predetermined number of quality calls and tours, as well as overall KPI performance with expected conversion ratios. Establishes appropriate referral sources, resulting in move-ins from referrals.
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing agencies including overseeing license renewals.
  • Manage vendor contracts, leases and warrants according to company policies and procedures.
  • Develop, implement and execute the quality assurance program.
  • Quickly familiarize yourself with the operating and capital budget to align community performance for best possible outcomes
  • Regularly monitor financial performance, review productivity reports, analyze Profit and Loss reports in a timely manner and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Train department heads in cost control and financial management techniques and methods.
  • Ensure assets are properly accounted for, safeguarded and accessed according to company standards and with proper authorization.

Our ideal candidate has the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to coach, inspire and supervise personnel.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Five plus years experience in a leadership role within the hospitality, senior housing or healthcare management industry.
  • Experience in senior living strongly preferred.
  • Valid Administrator license preferred.
  • Knowledge of financial management skills and familiarity with business principles and practices.
  • Willingness and desire to work with the elderly, knowledge of the aging process and the physical, psychological and social needs of the elderly.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written direction in the English language at a level adequate to perform the job duties.
  • Ability to handle several tasks and respond effectively to unexpected changes, requests and stressful situations.
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, polices and procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality care.
  • Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.
