Operations Center IT Specialist, United States Government Job at Google

Minimum qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in Technical Customer Support, IT Operations, or Systems Administration.
  • Experience with Windows, Active Directory Federation Service (ADFS).
  • Experience with supporting operating systems, networking, scripting and automation, and application troubleshooting.
  • US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information Clearance with polygraph.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in working with Operating Systems/Networks.
  • Experience in supporting Chrome OS, Windows, Mac OS, Unix, Networking, scripting, and automation, application troubleshooting.
  • Experience with creating or optimizing deployment and/or support processes for desktops, laptops, video conferencing, wireless devices, software, and patches.
  • Experience with creating scripts to automate common tasks.
  • Understanding of local and wide area network (LAN/WAN) and mobile computing environments.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $96,000-$146,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Assist with configuring, maintaining, and monitoring the Operations Center IT infrastructure for a 24/7 mission critical Support and Operations team.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for incident response escalation within response SLAs.
  • Drive innovative approaches to operating and supporting infrastructure to achieve high results.
