Summary:
The Home Care Supervisor/Office Coordinator/Data Entry is responsible for the answering phones, timely and accurate entry of a variety of data, managing the Lifeline medical alert program, providing oversight for the non-medical Home Care program, conducting admissions to Home Care and providing onsite supervision for Home Care.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Experience in health care data entry, preferably in home health care information systems.
- Organization, attention to detail.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
DUTIES:
- Maintains a professional demeanor as evidenced by appearance, dress, no body odor, attitude in contacts with other staff, physicians, patients and their support systems.
- Ability to be flexible with assignments, patients and schedules.
- Utilizes good time management techniques to maintain productivity level as determined by agency.
- The ability to be reliable and punctual for work.
- Accurately enters a variety of data into information systems.
- Assists the functions of billing through timely and accurate data entry and system reporting.
- Verifies accuracy of data entered through use of information systems reports.
- Assists the director and management team members in the preparation of monthly management, statistical, and financial reports as needed.
- Assists the director and management team members in collection of quality data.
- Alerts appropriate management team members regarding late or missing documents required for data entry.
- Alerts appropriate members of personnel to resolve system problems that negatively impact the speed and accuracy of data entry functions.
- Performs other specific projects relating to data entry and computer operations as required.
- Maintains confidentiality of patient and organization information at all times.
- Data entry into Brightree for admission and discharge
- Keep up with updating/renewing Medicaid PARS
- Assist biller in PFS with problems, questions, documentation inquiries, etc
- Ipad technical support
- Insurance verification, authorization, and monitoring
- Answering phones as needed
- Provide oversight for the non-medical Home Care program
- Do the aide schedule on a weekly basis with communication with the clients and aides
- Be available to the PCPs for questions at all times.
- Conduct non-skilled admissions to Estes Park Home Care.
- Provide on-site supervision at a minimum every three (3) months which will include an assessment of client satisfaction with services and the PCP’s adherence to the service plan.
- Observe the PCP providing services including tasks performed and the relationship with the client at least annually.
- Installs Lifeline medical alert units, trouble-shoots, & assists with those clients
- Other duties as assigned by the director
- Ability to work in an environment of strict confidentiality and maintain such an environment, both at work and in off-hours.
- Promotes positive interpersonal relationships and demonstrates effective communication skills.
- Participate in committees as assigned.
- Perform in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulatory agency standards
- Perform in accordance with EPH vision, mission and goals
- Special projects as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director/Administrator
Hiring range depending on experience is $15.78 to $21.46.
