Office Assistant Job at Excelsior Wood Products
Excelsior Wood Products is growing! We are currently seeking a hardworking Office Assistant - this is a new, entry level position, reporting to the Administrative Manager.
Excelsior Wood Products is a small, family-owned business located in historic Kingston, NY. We have the capability to manufacture both new and a limited number of reclaimed wood products including mouldings, flooring, decking, siding and paneling to name a few. As a part of the Excelsior team you will be able to experience the benefits of working in a small business atmosphere. We do our best to build upon the strengths of our employees, while enhancing their skills in other areas to uncover hidden talents. You will become a part of a supportive team of talented individuals ready to assist you in achieving your professional goals.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Answering phones in a professional and courteous manner
- Greeting customers and visitors
- Scheduling deliveries
- Daily invoicing and bill entry into Quickbooks
- Notifying customers when orders are ready
- Shipping samples
- Assist Administrative Manager as needed
The right person for this job will be a self-starter, quick learner, highly motivated, able to multi-task, work in a fast paced environment, adapt to whatever the situation calls for and enjoy working with a small group of people.
Mandatory drug testing and background check are required prior to employment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
