As a cranial remolding specialist, you will work with infants and toddlers to correct abnormal head shapes, focus on prevention, education, therapy, monitoring, and cranial remolding treatment. Cranial remolding is a type of therapy that helps mild to severe cases of abnormal head-shape in children. Pts, OTs, and Certified Orthotist have knowledge of anatomy, infant/toddler development and the therapeutic skills to provide the best patient centered clinical outcomes.

• Evaluation of patient needs for therapy and/or orthotic care.
• Maintaining accurate and complete documentation to clearly define goals and plan of treatment.
• Ensure highest standards of patient care including follow ups with patients and referring physicians.
• A background in pediatrics is strongly preferred, a keen sense of precision and attention to detail, and the ability to work as a team member to improve the quality of patient care.
• Through understanding of medical terminology and the principles of biomechanics, anatomy, and physiology.
• Ability to instruct clinical and patients on objectives of patient care.
• Effective organizational time management and planning skills, able to work independently.
• Formal training and mentoring provided. Qualifications

Physical Abilities Required:

• Ability to walk, bend, stand and reach constantly during a workday.
• Visual acuity sufficient to work with hands, including good visual capabilities to assess symmetry.
