Night Shift Nurse Manager Progressive Care Job at Clinical Management Consultants
A leading academic medical center located in central New Jersey is currently searching for an experienced Night Shift Nurse Manager Progressive Care to join their award-winning healthcare team.
The state-of-the-art medical center boasts more than 600-beds and provides a variety of primary, acute, and tertiary care services. This organization is regionally known for its numerous Centers of Excellence including cardiovascular care, cancer care, stroke care, neuroscience, orthopedics, and women and children’s services. This organization strives to provide an environment that is conducive to high-quality and evidence-based patient centered care.
The Night Shift Nurse Manager will manage a large step-down unit that cares for a variety of patients leaving critical care and the ICU. The Nurse Manager will lead the clinical and administrative functions of the department including planning and implementing policies and procedures, directing quality reviews of the unit and staff, and ensures regulatory compliance with both state and federal agencies. The Nurse Manager will be supported be a team of trained Registered Nurses, an Assistant Nurse Manager, Nurse Educator’s, and will report to the service line Nurse Director.
The Night Shift Nurse Manager is expected to serve as a transformative leader and promote a positive culture within the department. The Nurse Manager must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing program with at least 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in a step down, critical care, telemetry, or a medical surgical hospital setting. This is a full-time Night Shift position.
