Summary: The successful candidate will be a member of the Operations/Engineering Team providing engineering support and completing improvement and capital investment projects throughout the Insulated Panels Division. The role combines project management, equipment specification and design, equipment validation and commissioning and the provision of engineering technical support to multiple insulated panel manufacturing sites.
The role will be based in one of or main facilities, however an important aspect to the job is the flexibility to travel between our manufacturing sites as needed.

Main responsibilities of the role
- To carry out specific engineering tasks delegated to them by the Engineering Project Managers as appropriate.
- Update and manage P&ID designs and 3D models for Engineering equipment.
- Create and update the user and maintenance manuals for equipment used in manufacture by the Engineering team.
- Lead and manage the risk assessments and H&S documentation for equipment.
- Lead and support both minor and major engineering projects on our manufacturing sites.
- Produce engineering design and project support deliverables in line with Kingspan engineering standards.
- To support the various sites existing manufacturing processes through identification and correction of re-occurring faults and assist with the implementation of any necessary improvements.
- The evaluation of proposed capital investment projects e.g the extensive upgrade of existing facilities or product line, significant expansion on an existing site or the establishment of a brand-new manufacturing site
- The introduction and commissioning of new equipment or product manufacturing lines
- Assessing the economic feasibility of potential materials and manufacturing processes
- The developing and testing of product prototypes
- Energy reduction and efficiency projects
- Changes to manufacturing processes to improve competitive advantage
- Front-line maintenance and maintenance planning
- Provision of engineering/technical support to Department Managers

- CAD skills- Solidworks (or equipvalent 3D modeling software) and AutoCAD (or equipvalen 2D modeling software).
- Ability to read, analyze, interpret and generate 2D & 3D engineering drawings.
- Must be willing to travel and possibly be based away from home for considerable amounts of time
- Willing to work weekends/ holidays to conduct project work
- You should be no more than 12 months post- graduation or expect to graduate by 12/2022 with an engineering degree with a strong mechanical content.
- You must be eligible to work in North America, dependent on location of the vacancy
- You will need to have a bachelor’s degree and/or Masters in a relevant discipline e.g.
