Description

The Network Engineer - Network position reports to the Sr. Network Manager. This individual will work with the infrastructure team leading medium to large scale projects and provides ownership and drives teams to resolution on operational incidents. This individual is responsible for design, implement, and support a variety of networking technologies. This individual will provide technical expertise and will maintain infrastructure life cycle and improve operational processes and documentation.

Responsibilities:

· Perform configurations, design, testing, implementation, and documentation on solutions developed including design specifications.

· Provide operational support while leveraging colleagues for L1 and L2 support.

· Ability to extract, analyze and report the data.

· Strong attention to detail when identifying data relationships, trends and anomalies.

· Thinking through long-term impacts of key design decisions and handling failure scenarios.

· Maintain awareness of industry trends and evaluate applicability of new software tools to platform development.

· Commit to overall deliverables with customers and/or management.

· Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required

· Bachelors Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

· 5+ years hands-on experience with infrastructure engineering with enterprise network technologies.

· Experience implementing and supporting Meraki, Cisco and HP switches.

· Experience implementing and supporting Meraki Security Appliances, Checkpoint, Cisco Firepower and Palo Alto firewalls.

· Experience configuring and supporting Zscaler and Cisco Duo Beyond Zero Trust Exchange environments, Cisco ISE, Cisco Umbrella, Cisco Stealthwatch and Cisco AMP.

· Experience implementing and supporting a Meraki and/or VeloCloud SDWAN environment.

· Experience with monitoring and alerting tools for Network Infrastructure such as Solarwinds.

Preferred

· Certifications: CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional), CMNA designation (Cisco Meraki Network Association), Zscaler ZIA Delivery Specialist, Zscaler ZPA Delivery Specialist.

· Experience with Azure Networking

· Experience with vulnerability management for Network Infrastructure.

· Must be self-motivated with the ability to efficiently organize multiple concurrent tasks.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Experience automating repetitive network tasks.

· Self-directed and driven to produce results.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
