We are currently seeking a highly experienced Multifamily Construction Superintendent to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of multifamily residential projects from start to finish, including coordinating and supervising all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications, and maintaining the project schedule and budget. Responsibilities

• Possess a clear understanding and be responsible for constructions plans, RFI’s, as built documentation and submittal review process.
• Responsible for creation of CPM construction schedules, performing regular schedule.
• Monitor’s logic relationships and add new work items into the schedule and reflect resulting schedule impacts.
• Assist with the coordination of jobsite logistics and maintain relationships with adjacent building teams and subcontractors.
• Lead our client’s injury free environment safety program by setting a good example and fostering safe work behavior.
• Assist with the coordination of subcontractor work scopes, scheduling, and resource-loading.
• Maintain as-built drawings on weekly
• You will review the work of subcontractors and other employees as designated and are responsible for the performance of those you supervise.
• Other duties assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Provide technical expertise throughout the Pre-Construction process.
• Participate in the plan development stage of project.
• Ensure job safety requirements are understood and implemented by all project personnel and trade contractors, working with the safety support personnel as a resource.
• Lead weekly on site safety meetings.
• Review and understand the trade safety program and MSDS information in the trade contractor start up meeting.
• Be familiar with OSHA safety requirements, laws and regulations that pertain to the project
• Review the plans and specifications for constructability and construction schedules and advise the team of issues or deficiencies.
• Prepare, manage, and update the detailed project schedule with sequence activity duration utilizing Microsoft Project.
• Mentor and train other employees as necessary.
• Provide daily reports.
• Strong communication skills; thorough and attentive to details; able to prioritize and multitask; proactive and deadline oriented.
• Understand trade contractor and supplier contractor scopes.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and employees at all levels

Education and Experience

• Willingness to travel required.
• Travel is primarily local during the business day.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred
• A minimum of 3 years of related superintendent in a multi-family new construction environment.
• Valid motor vehicle driver’s license with proof of insurance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
