Pay Range: $510,000-$1,100,000 Company Overview:

Job Description:
The Dermatology Service in the Division of Subspecialty Medicine is seeking a full-time Mohs dermatologic surgeon to join a busy academic dermatology practice based primarily at our Hauppauge regional site, specialized in the diagnosis and management of skin cancer. Applicants must have expertise in Mohs micrographic surgery and an interest in clinical research and teaching. Opportunities for multidisciplinary clinical research and collaborative projects are numerous.
The Dermatology Service has a renowned faculty and a robust research program in the areas of optical imaging, medical informatics, artificial intelligence, patient reported outcomes, clinical trials, and epidemiologic studies. The Service provides expert diagnosis and treatment for melanoma and nonmelanoma skin cancers, as well as services to help patients cope with the dermatologic side effects of cancer treatment.

- Staff working at a MSK New Jersey location must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, which includes having completed the primary COVID-19 vaccination series and booster once eligible as mandated by New Jersey State. All New Jersey staff not yet eligible for a booster must receive a booster within 3 weeks of becoming eligible as a condition of continued employment at MSK.

Qualifications:
- ACGME MSDO fellowship successful completion.
- MDS (Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery) subspecialty certification or eligibility for certification by ABD.
- Licensure in the state of New York, or eligibility for a medical license in New York required.
- A track record of academic productivity.
- Strong potential for research independence.
