Compensation: $18.00 - $18.75 $22.00/hr after 90 days
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Following operating instructions
- Weighing quantities of liquid and solid chemicals
- Adds chemicals to reactors, mix tanks, or other equipment
- Loads dryers and monitors results
- Grinds product and packages
- Recovers solvents by distillation and operates wastewater treatment system
- Completes operating records accurately
- Maintains inventory of in-process materials,
- Other tasks as assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of experience in chemical or related industries required
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The plant is not fully enclosed, so some outside work is required. In some processes, the operator works with hot materials, operators are required to wear safety gear such as hard hats and safety glasses.
