Summary of Responsibilities and Competencies

1. Safety

· Participation: Understand and follow the Safety Program, safety rules and protocols, of the facility and specific to work areas. Actively participate in any applicable training, as well as collaborate with others and express understanding and interpretation of safety practices. Generally act safe, use caution and protect self.

· Consciousness: At all times, remain aware of the safety of self and others. Remain aware that safety is in the best interest of all and, therefore, is a critical component of all teamwork initiatives and job functions.

· PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): Always wear required PPE per work area requirements when in the specific work area. Obey all signage directing the use of PPE.

Millwright

· Performs periodic inspections, tests, and maintenance procedures on equipment to preserve and perpetuate proper functionality.

· Troubleshoots when issues arise with equipment.

· Adjusts, repairs, and/or replaces defective parts as needed.

· Communicates mechanical issues that require supervisory or managerial expertise.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
