The full continuum of River Edge Behavioral Health services provides state-of-the-art treatment and support services for more than 13,000 children, youth, families and adults annually, who experience mental illness, addiction, co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities.

River Edge is currently hiring Mid-level Provider to staff one of our brand NEW facilities!

Our Baldwin Outpatient Treatment program in Baldwin County provides services that include, but are not limited to, crisis services, assessments, service plan development, individual counseling, group counseling and skills training, family counseling and skills training, physician assessment and care, nursing services and education on recovery and wellness.

River Edge is in search of a full-time NP or PA to provide services in our Adult Outpatient Unit in Baldwin.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide service to Adult Outpatient and Crisis Service Center.
• Administers or orders diagnostic tests, and laboratory tests.
• Instructs and counsels clients about prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.
• Interprets diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
• Makes tentative diagnoses and decisions about management and treatment of clients.
• Obtains compiles and records client medical data, including health history, progress notes and results of examination.
• Prescribes therapy or medication as needed under protocol with physician.
• Develops comprehensive plans of care.
• Examines clients to obtain information about medical and/or psychiatric condition.
• Administers or orders diagnostic tests, and laboratory tests.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Georgia license to practice as an advance practice registered nurse or physician's assistant with at least one year of experience in behavioral health service delivery.
