Summary

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for working with all levels of temporary or full time field employees to ensuring adequate coverage of available shifts that our clients have given us to fill. Will complete nursing schedules, pre-employment tests, background checks, and will coordinate orientations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Microsoft proficiency, including Word and Excel
  • Excellent Communication Skills and the ability to influence others
  • Communicate information in a clear and concise manner
  • Maintain good working relationship with staff keeping them informed and ensuring transparency of scheduling decisions made
  • Ensure confidentiality and discretion is maintained when dealing with staff
  • Develop strong working relationship with Management in terms of understanding the facility requirements
  • Ability to undertake special projects as defined by Management when required.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize a variable workload.
  • Ability to remain calm and make objective decisions under pressure
  • Excellent inter-personal skills

Requirements

Prior experience recruiting healthcare professionals, credentialing, coordinating schedules and/or ensuring adequate staffing levels for shift coverage in a fast-paced healthcare environment is strongly preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
