Your primary objective is to manage and oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations of our Online Mathnasium Program. You will be working closely with the Head Coach, Scheduler, LP Team, Recruiter, Instructors to create a smooth-running Online tutoring program operation.

Job Responsibilities include:
  • Student Progress - Ensure students are making progress by monitoring their Learning Plans progress, instructor session notes, parent and school feedback. Initially, you will be coordinating with our Learning Plan Team to ensure students learning plans are not too old, and are at the right level. After you are more experienced, you will learn to modify and tweak learning plans as needed.
  • Parent Communication - Progress Update reports and meetings with parents; respond to parents ad-hoc inquiries about progress, math issues, teacher feedback. It's important that you do whatever you can to get to know the students so you are able to talk to the parents not from just a generic perspective, but from a Center Director who know their children's strengths and weaknesses. All parent meetings are remote - by email, zoom or phone.
  • Training/Coaching Instructors - You will be working closely with the Head Coach to ensure new instructor are onboarded and certified in a timely manner and that student personalities are being matched well with instructors
  • Staffing and scheduling – Work closely with our recruiter and scheduler to make sure online sessions run smoothly and you have effective protocols for handling surprises and call outs.
  • Instructor- The Education Director is the exemplary, model Mathnasium instructor. To stay in touch with your students, and with the teaching experience, you will be teaching students 20% of your time, about 8 hours a week. Mathnasium certification and Methods training provided.
Qualifications:
  • Passion for customer service operations
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance various leadership responsibilities
  • Eagerness to learn and be trained
  • Exceptional math competency through at least Pre-Algebra.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, a knack for problem solving, especially technical glitches
  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree, preferred in education, math, or related field
  • Previous management or leadership experience preferred
  • Previous customer relationships & sales experience preferred
