Job Duties and Responsibilities

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effectively communicate account needs, new programs, forecasts and strategies with all levels of management.
  • Primary point of contact for customers, responsible for managing orders to ensure on-time delivery and to effectively communicate exceptions.
  • Review & Manage orders / PO’s received by EDI, customer portals, e-mail, fax, phone.
  • Order entry into ERP system and Sales order management.
  • Order confirmation & collaboration with customers
  • Collaborate with material planners, production scheduling, operations, and shipping to identify and communicate potential delays to customers.
  • Primary point of contact for all customer communications including new orders, changes, increases, ship status, RMA’s, and customer concerns.
  • Attend and report out order/ship status during conference calls and meetings with both customers and Dana leadership. Proactive and effective communication of exceptions.
  • Follow customer logistics process to plan and schedule sufficient transportation to meet on-time delivery of customer’s requirements – Will require multiple web-based transportation portals.
  • Manage all premium loads in Accent On Demand expedite service provider and be able to root cause and countermeasure the need for expedites.
  • Participate in Cross-functional team meetings to create new systematic processes that drive cost savings and continuous improvement.
  • Manage Get Paid system for customer Debits / Credits.


EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years’ experience in automotive or automotive supplier industry.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (Oracle, SAP)
  • Knowledge of EDI ordering standards
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, at all levels
  • Commitment to the highest standards of ethical behavior in self and others; commitment to inclusion and diversity
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required (less than 5% of travel)
  • Accomplished business leader with the ability to work successfully in a matrix environment
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Effective listener and communicator
  • Proficient technical skills Microsoft Office; PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive and think forward
  • Able to effectively interface with other disciplines in the organization to achieve result, must have a cross- functional mentality.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results
  • Proven excellent customer relationship management skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Must be always available, to meet customer requirements and provide world class customer service.
  • ust be comfortable in an industrial manufacturing setting.
