Job Description:
Microchip Technology, Inc is looking for a Material Handler with experience handling stores various nonhazardous and hazardous materials within a warehouse. The position is located at our Fab 2 facility in Tempe, AZ, this is a CWW (compressed workweek), day shift (FD), front-end of the week, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and swing Wednesday, 6:00am to 6:30pm, 12-hour shifts with 5% shift differential.
- Position interacts with many different groups.
- Pull, and verify, material from shelves
- Process orders in multiple ERP systems (Baan)
- Computer skills a must, past usage of an electronic inventory system helpful
- Minimum 1-2 years direct experience working with chemicals
- Have job experience in Shipping
- Boxing parts and units for shipment
Requirements/Qualifications:
Special Requirement:
- Mandatory ERT physical including ERT team participation.
- Individual must operate a fork-lift and an electric pallet jack after training.
- Must be able to lift more than 40 lbs. Walking and standing is a requirement.
- This position is classified as a Safety-Sensitive position - Negative drug test is required.
