Material Handler Job at Flex-Staff, Inc.
The Shipping and Receiving position is responsible for verifying, packing, and arranging shipping for orders, parts, transfer orders, and subcontract items, etc. as well as verifying and receiving purchased items into inventory accurately. Other duties as assigned by Production Manager.

- Process all transactions correctly
- Receiving against POs making sure to count and report actuals
- Shipping from order, inventory, job as indicated
- Unload, verify, receive, and move incoming product to proper bin locations
- Coordinate subcontract parts to be shipped and received from vendors, communicating with Purchasing as necessary
- Pack product into proper packaging material to ensure minimal damage in transit
- Schedule shipments with carriers as per order instructions
- Verify each line item on the order to ensure complete shipment
- Create Packing List in the system and enter as order is being packed
- Print packing list, arrange shipping, and enter all relevant information into the system to allow proper tracking and history when needed
- Work with Purchasing to ensure pallets and packaging material is on hand to meet requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and orderly storage in designated storage areas and transferring items in the system as needed
- Prepare documentation to forward to accounting for invoicing per accounting’s instructions
- Load and unload trucks as needed, using a forklift
- Assemble and carton product for shipment and receive inventory based upon production demands
- Pick parts as needed.
- Create non-standard packing as required.
