ITW Residential and Renovation, a division of the Construction Products business segment, is a global provider of premium fastening solutions that improve contractor productivity and building quality in the residential and renovation construction industries. As a Material Handler, you will work in a team setting to reach warehouse operations goals. You will perform basic warehouse duties including picking items, packing items, and loading trailers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and within established productivity standards.
- Load product onto trucks or ocean containers in a safe manner.
- Replenish inventory within the warehouse picking locations.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts according to established schedule.
- Observe all the ITW safety policies and procedures; maintain a neat and orderly work area.
- Participate in safety meetings
- Contribute towards process improvement within job parameters.
- All additional duties as assigned by supervisor
- 1+ Year Experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- Forklift certified
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer and keyboarding skills

Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential duties and responsibilities of this position, within typical manufacturing plant working conditions. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, climate variances and moving mechanical equipment typically found in a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment (office) is usually low, but much higher when exposed to the manufacturing areas. Combination of office/desk time and warehouse/laboratory time. Some travel may be required to construction jobsites or fabrication plants. Certain personal protective equipment is required when in laboratory or manufacturing areas. Warehouse can be warm during the summer.
