Job Summary:
You will be expected to prepare materials to produce precision plastic parts (PTFE and rigid plastic materials). You will also be required to complete the in-house training for Motorized pallet jack and forklift driving. You will also be responsible for multiple daily tasks that ensure proper production workflow in the department as well as basic daily maintenance and housekeeping of areas.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited to:

• Must complete JSA training.
• Cross train to run other basic machinery as needed to ensure production flow.
• Ensure proper production workflow in the department.
• Utilize tape measure and other measuring equipment such as calipers.
• Perform safe, accurate, and efficient operation of saws, ovens, and other machines.
• Prepare materials for production use and deliver to proper production channels.
• Maintain proper level of consumable supplies as needed.
• Load/unload material sintering ovens.
• Accurately perform monthly/yearly inventory counts.
• Incorporate the 5S, perform basic daily maintenance and housekeeping of areas.
• Accept incoming materials using Quality Assurance practices.

Physical Abilities Required:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Able to use repetitive motion in hands, arms, and wrists.
• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job equipment.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Comprehensive communication skills in the English language both verbal and written for the purpose of safety on the shop floor.
• Basic computer and math skills required.
• Ability to be forklift certified through in-house training program.
• Ability to work swing and off shifts.
• Must complete JSA training.
• Regular and predictable on-site attendance.

Desired Skills/Abilities:

• Must be detail oriented and able to complete production documentation.
• Previous forklift or motorized pallet jack experience a plus.
• Experience performing safe, accurate, and efficient operation of saws, ovens, and other machines.
• Tape measure use, experience with measuring equipment such as calipers a plus.
• Basic knowledge of safety standards
• Be a team player!
