Master Level Therapist (Addiction Treatment) Job at California Behavioral Health
Therapist Position- Growing Small Company- Full-Time Position will require weekend availability and we are flexible with work schedules.
Addiction Treatment Facility.
Must have completed a Master’s Degree in any off the following, or associated fields: Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling. Must currently have a registration number as an associate with the Board of Behavioral Sciences in- Marriage and Family Therapy, Social work, Professional Clinical Counselor, or related field.
If in recovery, 2+ Years sobriety.
Will conduct Group, Individual and family therapy. Supervision provided.
Assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
- Demonstrated experience working within a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Will help residents build coping skills, intrapersonal and interpersonal awareness and life skills needed to successfully transition to a meaningful and productive life
- Insurance Experience, including familiarity with ASAM placement criteria and billing codes
- Knowledgeable of confidentiality laws pertaining to patient treatment and records in accordance with HIPPA and Joint Commission -accreditation standards
- Knowledge of cultural diversity and sensitivity
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to type efficiently and working knowledge/familiarity with MS Word and electronic medical record keeping (EMR).
- Must pass a background check and have valid drivers license
- Will need to obtain First Aid and CPR Certifications
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $40.00 per hour
