Spire Hockey is currently comprised of the Greenville Swamp Rabbits and the Rapid City Rush of the ECHL, the premier “AA” professional hockey organization in North America.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Spire and the Greenville Swamp Rabbits seek a Mascot Performer to provide support to the team's mascot program. This position would eagerly perform as the character, Stomper, assist Community Outreach events and the Game Operations Department.
This is a seasonal, hourly position, that has the potential to develop to a full-time role.
The Mascot Performer will; be extremely outgoing as a personality in and out of the character, have a passion for entertaining and live events. The ideal candidate will be an energetic individual and thinks creatively.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Serve as the Mascot Character for events and games
- Attend Outreach events on Weekends, Evenings and some potential holidays.
- Help support unique and creative game presentation and entertainment
- The ability to work with confidential information and always maintain professionalism while representing the Swamp Rabbits brand
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
- Prior experience in a mascot suit is preferred.
- Ability to ice skate preferred.
- Ability to professionally communicate and interact with all levels of internal and external parties
