Job Title: Marketing Manager, Emerging Markets
A little bit about our team:
The Emerging Markets Marketing team is responsible for strategically developing the international careers of our artists from the diverse region and helping grow Warner Music’s frontline label artists throughout the Emerging Markets themselves. We work closely with artist teams, domestic marketing teams, and our international affiliates to bring artists to the global music stage.
Your role:
You will work closely with the Head of Marketing, collaborating with our evolving roster of artists to deliver cutting edge international strategy and campaigns.
Here you’ll get to:
  • Manage the international strategy for artists across the Emerging Markets roster
  • Work closely with local and international A&R teams on global release strategy for Emerging Markets artists
  • Work with artist management and affiliates to instigate, coordinate and approve all international press and promotion
  • Develop relationships with partners to help support Emerging Markets artists across the US
  • Execute effective online advertising campaigns for artists, creating a strong presence in the desired target market and community
  • Support new marketing strategies and initiatives to be rolled out across the wider Emerging Markets team including, but not limited to, fan acquisition, advertising, and content creation
  • Support and contribute to development of the Emerging Markets regional label, OUT OF ORDER
  • Participate in brainstorming and implementation of exciting content and innovative campaigns for Emerging Market artists, bringing fresh ideas to the artist development process
  • Work with the Emerging Markets team to supply global affiliates with all marketing tools for domestic releases
  • Work with frontline labels and affiliates to help support and develop their artists throughout the Emerging Markets
  • Develop and have working knowledge of data from industry standard platforms (i.e., Soundscan, Mediabase, Music Connect, etc.), internal data systems (WMG exclusive platforms such as ISAAC and Opus), third-party analytics (Spotify analytics, Google trends, etc.), social media landscape and global platforms and trends, and how we can use them all to effectively build an artist’s career – locally and globally
  • Analyze global campaign & streaming data
  • Research consumer and market trends
  • Build a global network of friends and colleagues
About you:

  • Music marketing experience
  • Working knowledge of interactive technologies and communication tools including email, social media, and viral marketing techniques (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, SoundCloud, Snapchat, etc.)
  • Experience and knowledge of streaming platforms
  • Some experience with Photoshop, social media publishing tools and video editing

Job Posting Range
$65,000 to $80,000 Annually
Job Posting Ranges are included for all New York and California job postings and 100% remote roles where talent can be located in NYC and CA. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
