Shield HealthCare is looking for a Marketing Generalist to join our marketing team at our Valencia, CA corporate office. Our marketing generalist will provide marketing support for our product lines including but not limited to incontinence, enteral, urology, ostomy, wound care and diabetes. Assists with various marketing projects and campaigns including digital, social media, web, tradeshows, samples, print collateral, and live/ recorded presentations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, execute/ distribute, monitor, and report internal and external communications, including but not limited to emails, flyers, booklets, newsletters, videos, surveys, social media, PowerPoint presentations, and live/ recorded presentations.
- Proof communications by others for accuracy, spelling, grammar, tone, style.
- Manage inventory/ reorder of standard Marketing Materials, the Marketing Materials Ordering Guide, and the ordering process by users. This includes physically receiving, organizing, and inventorying marketing materials in the warehouse.
- Coordinate the Webinar program: preparation of topics/ materials, coordinating with subject matter experts, rehearsal, execution/ hosting, email invitations/ registration, CE credits, and data-gathering on impact.
- Coordinate, complete, and potentially lead others in production of several key Marketing initiatives including annual Caregiver Story Contest, annual Shield desk calendar, monthly company newsletter, annual customer satisfaction survey and internal/ external reports.
- Assist with marketing and training programs in support of the Shield HealthCare product lines.
- Manage marketing materials requests from sales, maintain inventory of marketing materials in the warehouse, and orders from printers/ vendors.
- Register for and update trade show lists, gather data on events and present to marketing team.
- Build and inventory sample kits, manage components on hand and track kit requests and costs.
- Receive and log product complaints, review for potential problems and address with Product Managers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Marketing, Communications, English, or Journalism preferred.
- Minimum 3 years marketing experience required
- Design skills: Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat)
- Strong MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook skills.
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to forge professional relationships with customers, referral sources, vendors, and company personnel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle and prioritize a variety of assignments
